Welcome

With partnerships with several school districts, we aim to advance high-quality school health programs and research in order to address health and educational inequities among K-12 youth, young adults, and their communities. This website highlights research of the School Health Evaluation and Research (SHER) team and other Stanford School Health initiatives.

SJUSD Full-Time Nurse Demonstration Project

This showcase features the evaluation of a six-year initiative to expand school nursing in San Jose Unified School District. Sponsored by the Lucile Packard Foundation for Children's Health and Lucile Packard Children's Hospital, the project provides full-time school nurses in four underserved schools and a full-time nurse practitioner at the School Health Clinics of Santa Clara County.
